Sequent Repatterning Hypnotherapy
An Effective Treatment for Misophonia
Course Start Date: 28 Jul 2016
live class
Sequent Repattering hypnotherapy was developed as a treatment for misophonia in 2013 by Chris Pearson. He has provided this treatment to numerous individuals since then. In this presentation, Chris will present the pre-treatment, post-treatment, and 6-month follow-up data on 57 individuals treated in 2015.
The data indicates that Sequent Repatterning reduces the severity of misophonia by 50% based on the Misophonia Assessment Questionnaire, and the improvement was essentially the same 6 months later.
This class explains the sequential steps that make up Sequent Repatterning and how these steps change the automatic (reflex) response to misophonic triggers. Although Sequent Repatterning does not "cure" misophonia, it makes a very significant reduction in the symptoms of misophonia and the disruption to daily life.
The most significant benefit of misophonia is a large reduction in the anger (and other emotions) caused by your triggers.

As a result, he worked with a number of individuals in 2013 and developed Sequent Repatterning as a sequential process of treating misophonia. Sequent Repatterning hypnotherapy for misophonia has shown to provide broadly positive results for individuals with misophonia.
